YOUR HOSTS
Edith runs not only the tavern with great dedication, but also her practice for human energetics in Salzburg. Her son Georg graduated from the Holztechnikum Kuchl and, after a journey through America, rediscovered his love for his home. In 2025 he officially takes over the tavern – with new ideas, but the same devotion to tradition.

For over 120 years, our tavern has stood for Salzburg hospitality, honest cuisine, and an atmosphere where you feel at home right away. It’s not about luxury in the classic sense – but about what is truly valuable: time. Time to savour, time to switch off, time for moments that last.
Our kitchen follows the rhythm of nature. We rely on regional ingredients, traditional recipes, and seasonal specialities, prepared with great love and care. Whether a hearty Jause, a savoury Bratl, or homemade Mehlspeisen – only what tastes good and does you good comes to the table. And because good food tastes even better in good company, we invite you to share the pleasure with others – be it breakfast amid the greenery, in our cosy tavern parlour, or at a sociable Kasnock’n evening.
Here in Fürstenbrunn, tradition meets modernity: as a fourth-generation family business, we preserve the best of the old days and combine it with new ideas.
